A pedestrian was struck by a semi on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood Wednesday morning and hospitalized in unknown condition.
The accident was reported about 1:45 a.m. near Vine Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details of what led to the incident were not immediately available.
A news photographer at the scene said the victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition and that the big-rig driver remained at the location.
