An investigation was underway Saturday morning into the shooting death of a man in Paramount.
Deputies responded at 11 p.m. Friday to the 7300 block of Richfield Street, near Garfield Avenue, and found the victim, who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Deputy Alejandra Parra of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A motive for the shooting was not disclosed.
The name of the victim was not available.
