Two men in their 20s, one of them armed, robbed a man as he stood with his wife outside a restaurant in Culver City, authorities said Monday.

Officers were dispatched at 8:38 p.m. Sunday to California Roll and Sushi, 6251 Bristol Parkway, the Culver City Police Department reported.

The victim told police he was standing outside the business when the two suspects approached him and his wife, and one of them pulled out a handgun to demand their property.

The man said he handed over his personal property to one of the suspects. Both suspects ran away to an awaiting SUV that then fled northbound through the parking lot and westbound on Green Valley Circle.’

The two suspects were described as two Black men in their 20s with thin builds. One wore a gray hoodie and the other wore dark clothing. The driver of the SUV was also described as a Black male.

Culver City police urged anyone with information regarding the armed robbery to call them at 310-253-6316.
