A fire that erupted Wednesday in a Moreno Valley home caused significant damage and displaced the six occupants, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze broke out for unknown reasons about 1 p.m. in the 25000 block of Silent Creek Road, near Flaming Arrow Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The two men, two women and two children occupying the home got out safely.
Firefighers encountered flames in the front portion of the single-story residence and had the blaze fully contained within 20 minutes.
American Red Cross personnel were summoned to help the victims find temporary lodgings.
