Authorities Friday sought public help to find an 11-year-old girl who went missing in the south Los Angeles area.
Aaliyah Santana was last seen on Thursday night near 54th Street and Long Beach Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
“She is a foster child, who recently had been placed in the care of a relative near where she was last seen,” police said in a statement.
Aaliyah is Black, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds, and has black hair with red dreadlocks and brown eyes.
