A man was shot to death Tuesday morning in the unincorporated Bassett area near La Puente.
Deputies responded about 1:10 a.m. to the 13000 block of Valley Boulevard, near Temple Avenue, where they located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A motive for the shooting or suspect description was not immediately available.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
