One person was killed Thursday evening in a crash on the transition road from the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway to the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in Commerce.
The crash was reported about 9:40 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a SigAlert closing all lanes of the transition road until further notice.
Details of the crash were not immediately available.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
