Authorities Friday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver as she walked in a marked crosswalk in the Arlington Heights area of Los Angeles.

Margo Spann, 40, of Los Angeles was struck by a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with an extended cab at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Venice Boulevard and Wilton Place and died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.

A standing reward of up to $50,000 is available from the city of Los Angeles for information that helps police solve a fatal hit-and- run.
