The Culver City Police Department announced Tuesday the arrest of a man suspected in a string of assaults.
The 24-year-old man was arrested Monday for assault with a deadly weapon after several community tips were submitted to detectives, police said.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
He caused a disturbance on Feb. 24 about 5 a.m. at a business at 13300 Washington Blvd., brandishing a knife after a store employee asked him to leave, police said.
The man fled the location and responding officers were unable to locate him.
Police released a video depicting the incident on March 1 to develop leads. Detective received several tips from the community that assisted authorities in identifying the man, according to a police statement.
The man is suspected of two additional assaults with a deadly weapon in the city of Los Angeles, police said.
