At least one person was killed Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway in Brea.
The crash occurred about 6:30 p.m. at Imperial Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported. No other injuries were reported.
The name of the deceased will be withheld pending notification of next of kin. The age and gender of the victim was not immediately known.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 6:40 p.m. The crash left the carpool, and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes temporarily blocked, the CHP reported.
The SigAlert was canceled at 7:37 p.m. after the lanes were cleared, the CHP said.
