A pedestrian killed in a North Hollywood crosswalk was publicly identified Saturday as police continued the search for the driver who fled the scene.
Milton Dubois, 57, of North Hollywood died from traumatic injuries, according to the coroner’s office.
Dubois died about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at Lankershim Boulevard and Stagg Street, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.
Dubois was walking across Lankershim when he was hit by a northbound sedan, police said. The silver or white 2010-2012 BMW sustained “severe damage” to its front end, according to the LAPD.
A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve a fatal hit-and-run.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the LAPD Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8022; 877-LAPD-247; or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
