A 31-year-old man in Pomona was critically injured when he was shot once while driving a vehicle, which then crashed into two unoccupied vehicles, police said Sunday.

“No one else appears to have been injured in the incident,” said Sgt. Iain Miller of the Pomona Police Department. “The motive for the shooting is unknown and there is no suspect information.”

Officers were dispatched to the crash scene at West Holt Boulevard and Erie Street at 5:22 p.m. Saturday, Miller said.
