Police in Pasadena Saturday are investigating two shootings in which no one was injured and at least one 9mm shell casing or live round was found at both locations.

Police were dispatched at 2:35 a.m. to the 600 block of Atchison Street, in response to reports of gunfire at a house party and found a 9mm bullet on the ground in front of the home, according to Lt. Marcia Taglioretti of the Pasadena Police Department.

No victims were found, said Taglioretti, adding the home had been rented out through Airbnb.

Officers responding just before 10 p.m. Friday to reports of gunfire in the area of Navarro Avenue and Tremont Street found a spent 9mm bullet casing at the northeast corner of the intersection, she said.

A witness told police a man was walking west along Tremont Street, when someone inside a black, newer-model SUV opened fire from the passenger window as the vehicle made a turn onto southbound Navarro Avenue, she said.

The man escaped injury and ran, with the black SUV continuing southbound on Navarro Avenue.

Pasadena police urged anyone with information regarding the shootings to call them at 626-744-4501.
