Police Monday arrested a man who allegedly shot at officers from the window of a Sylmar apartment building, triggering an evacuation of the complex.
Los Angeles Police Department officers surrounded the apartment complex located in the area of Bromont Avenue and Sayre Street about 2:40 p.m. and called in a SWAT team.
The man, who was not immediately identified, surrendered to police about 4 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
