Authorities Tuesday publicly identified a 52-year-old man who was fatally shot at a Desert Hot Springs mobile home park.
Andres Martinez of Desert Hot Springs was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting reported at about 10:40 p.m. Monday in the 66400 block of Fifth Street.
Patrol officers sent to the area on a report of gunshots found Martinez suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Police did not provide any additional information on the shooting except to say detectives are working the investigation.
