Los Angeles police Friday circulated a photo of a Northridge man accused of embezzling money while employed at several business management firms in the Southland and put out a call for help in identifying additional alleged victims who may have hired him.

Justin Andrew Parry, 39, was employed between Jan. 1, 2020, and earlier this month as an accountant at five business management firms in Los Angeles and surrounding counties, according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.

The firms paid bills, filed taxes and provided financial advice for clients, and Parry’s position as an accountant allowed him to access to client financial profiles, which he allegedly illegally accessed for his own financial gain, according to an LAPD statement.

Parry allegedly used the following aliases to gain employment with the firms:

— Curtis Andrews Rich;

— Justin Andrew Blunt;

— Justin Andrew Parry; and

— Mike Bernal.

Parry was arrested March 9 on suspicion of embezzlement by detectives from the LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division and released on bond; there is no record showing any charges have been filed against him at this point.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call Metro Financial Section Detective DeShon Andrews at 213-486-6920. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
