A man was shot and killed Friday evening in a residential portion of the unincorporated Bassett area near Baldwin Park.
The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Stichman Avenue at about 6:45 p.m., said Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
