A pedestrian was killed on an off-ramp from the Artesia (91) Freeway in Bellflower, authorities said Monday.
The pedestrian was struck about 8 p.m. Sunday on the Clark Avenue off-ramp from the westbound Artesia Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to CHP Officer Dion Conley.
No further information was available about the death.
A SigAlert was issued at 8:23 p.m., shutting down the Clark Avenue off-ramp from the westbound Artesia Freeway. The off-ramp was reopened at about 11:50 p.m.
