A man was shot Friday in an unincorporated area near La Mirada by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies.
The shooting occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in 15800 block of Creswick Drive, near Santa Gertrudes Avenue and La Mirada city limit, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital. His condition was not known.
No deputies were injured in the shooting. No details regarding events leading up to the shooting were released.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, Ortiz said.
