Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 30-year woman wanted in connection with the killing of three young children whose bodies were found at a Reseda apartment Saturday.
The children, who police said all appeared to be under the age of five, were found in the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard, near Strathern Street, after police were called at about 9:30 a.m., according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
“Officers responded to a death investigation of three victims, who were found deceased,” Cervantes said.
“At this time we are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in this case, a female Hispanic 30 years old named Liliana Carrillo,” the LAPD tweeted early Saturday afternoon.
“We are receiving reports that she just committed a carjacking in the Bakersfield area and might be driving in a stolen Silver Toyota pickup license J258T0. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 213-486-6890 or email rhdtipline@lapd.online,” the department said.
According to NBC4 and ABC7, which both cited police sources, the victims were found by their grandmother and had been stabbed to death.
