A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing in South Gate after she went out for a late-night walk and did not return home has been found, authorities announced Wednesday.
Ashley Carmen Cruz was last seen just before midnight Monday in the 2500 block of Ohio Avenue, near Alameda Street, and the South Gate Police Department sought the public’s help to find her.
Police announced Wednesday afternoon that the teen had been found. No further details were released.
