A homeless man shot to death in Wilmington was identified Saturday.
Maximiliano Venegas was 29, according to coroner’s Lt. David Smith.
The shooting was reported about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday in the area of East Sandison Street and Gamble Avenue, said Los Angeles police Officer William Cooper.
Paramedics pronounced Venegas dead at the scene.
Police did not have a suspect description, Cooper said.
