A person was shot Friday in Palm Springs, and the assailant was at large.
The shooting occurred about 1 a.m. in the area of Granada Avenue and Palm Vista Drive, according to the Palm Springs Police Department. Patrol offers found shell casings in the roadway, and “evidence a person had been injured.”
A short time later, a local hospital reported a gunshot victim was being treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening. Police withheld the person’s name and age, and did not offer a motive for the shooting.
