A 62-year-old man who found shot to death in a car in the South Los Angeles area was identified by the coroner’s office Thursday.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were sent to the area of West 94th Street and Budlong Avenue just before 9 a.m. Wednesday and found Robert Eaton sitting in a car parked along the north curb of West 94th Street, according to Deputy Alejandra Parra of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The shooting appeared to have occurred Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, Parra said. Eaton was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests were reported. A suspect description has not been released.
