A roughly three-acre brush fire was burning in Santa Clarita Wednesday evening and sheriff’s deputies were searching the area for a possible suspect.
The fire was reported at about 7 p.m. in the Santa Clara Riverbed in the area of Valencia Boulevard and Bouquet Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire was initially reported by a civilian who said they saw a person lighting the fire, CBS2 reported.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed that sheriff’s deputies were searching for a possible suspect.
