Eight Santa Ana men suspected of possessing and distributing child pornography were arrested following a monthslong investigation, police said Friday.
The Santa Ana Police Department began the investigation after receiving multiple tips, according to a police statement.
Investigators authorized more than 70 search warrants, 11 of which were served at residences across Santa Ana over the course of a two-day operation.
The arrested men were identified as Carlos Gurrola, 42, Alejandro Bermudez, 26, Jaren Loong, 32, Erick Oropeza, 21, Ismael Ortega, 24, Luis Reyes, 48, Luis Ramirez-Beltran, 29, Nathan Pham, 18.
All of the men were booked into the Santa Ana Jail.
