Authorities were searching for the shooter who was reported to have wounded a child in a vehicle on a freeway in Orange Friday.
The northbound Costa Mesa (55) Freeway was closed at Chapman Avenue about 8:30 a.m. due to police activity, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities did not reveal details of the investigation.
According to Fox11, a child was shot in a vehicle and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, and a suspect was being sought.
