County firefighters knocked down a fire inside a Carson warehouse Saturday involving a pile of recycling material, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The blaze inside the building at 1058 E, 230th St. was reported at 12:44 p.m., said county fire Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
The streets surrounding the fire area were temporarily closed, the Carson sheriff’s station reported.
It was extinguished at 1:02 p.m., Ornelas said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Ornelas said.
