A Moreno Valley man arrested in connection with a burglary and various armed robberies at businesses in Perris remained jailed Saturday in lieu of $500,000.
Deputies responded to two armed robberies and a commercial burglary on Thursday and Friday and were later able to identify two suspects they believed were involved in the crimes, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators were led to a home in Moreno Valley, where Nathaniel Rodriguez, 18, was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of four counts of armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Authorities later identified Rodriguez as a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred May 21 at another Perris business.
An unnamed juvenile was also taken into custody on suspicion of three counts of armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime after deputies served a search warrant at a home in Homeland as part of the investigation.
