A person died in a traffic collision in Canoga Park Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 3:40 p.m. Thursday between a vehicle and a motorcycle in the 8000 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard, near Strathern Street, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department statement.
One person was pronounced at the scene, though it was not immediately known if they were the driver of the car or the motorcyclist, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer William Cooper.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
Another person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the LAFD.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
