Police Friday released a video showing a knife attack outside a Panorama City video store that left a man critically wounded.

The attack occurred around 7 p.m. on June 20 in the 14700 block of Parthenia Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim was standing inside the store when the suspect challenged him to a fight, police said.

The video shows the two men fighting outside the store. The victim’s ankle was fractured during the fight, leaving him unable to stand. The suspect walked away, returned with a knife and stabbed the man while he was on the ground.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, about 30 years old, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 150 pounds, with long brown hair.
