A man was shot and killed Monday in Lawndale.
The shooting occurred at about 1:20 p.m. in the 4700 block of 167th Street, near Inglewood Avenue and the border with Redondo Beach, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was taken to a hospital by paramedics, where he died of his wounds. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No suspect description was provided.
