A 24-year-old man suspected of shooting a woman from a truck during a road rage incident in Corona was arrested Wednesday.

Corona Police Department officers responded to a call at approximately 10:13 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Border Avenue where they found the victim of the shooting, according to Detective Daniel Clary.

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A white four-door Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty was identified as the suspect vehicle and was captured by a nearby surveillance camera, Cleary said.

Corona police identified Cibrian Medrano, of Corona, as the driver of the truck and arrested him at about 2:35 p.m. Wednesday.

Police later searched Medrano’s house in the 1300 block of Mahogany Street and found the suspected firearm, Silverado and “other evidentiary items.”
