Police Thursday were searching for an 89-year-old man last seen in Monterey Park.
Kim Mac was last seen about 8 a.m. Wednesday in the area of South Rural and Edgley drives, according to a Silver Alert issued by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the Monterey Park Police Department.
Mac is Asian, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, brown pants and a brown baseball hat.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
