A motorist was taken into custody in the Norwalk area Friday after leading authorities on a chase in a possibly stolen car.
The chase, which reportedly originated in Barstow, ended shortly before 10 a.m., when the suspect surrendered.
The man was driving a Mercedes-Benz sedan and drove onto a residential sidewalk, then came to a stop when he struck a fence in front of a home.
