A high-speed pursuit of an alleged carjacking suspect that began in Montclair ended Sunday evening in Riverside.
The pursuit was initiated by the California Highway Patrol and taken over by Ontario police, KCAL-9 reported.
The chase ended around 7:15 p.m. with Ontario police using a PIT maneuver to cripple the car.
The driver reluctantly got out of the car and surrendered peacefully to police.
There was a passenger in the car, but it was unclear whether that person was detained by authorities.
