Authorities Monday identified a 75-year-old woman who was fatally injured by a hit-and-run vehicle in Norwalk and continued their efforts to find the motorist responsible for her death.
The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. Sunday near Pioneer and Firestone boulevards, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Bertha Nunez of Norwalk died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. No description of the hit-and-run vehicle was available.
