A 25-year-old man with Down syndrome went missing Friday in Lynwood, and authorities sought public help to find him.
Carlos Enriquez Martinez was last seen about 10 a.m. in the 3300 block of Elizabeth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Martinez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing tan pants and a gray shirt, and was carrying a blue skateboard and a number of multi-colored shoelaces, the sheriff’s department reported.
“His family has not seen or heard from him,” a sheriff’s statement said. “They are very concerned and asking for the public’s help.”
