A man shot to death in Van Nuys was publicly identified Saturday.
The shooting was reported at 2:52 p.m. Thursday near a 7-Eleven at Arminta Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard, said Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Division.
Esbi Barrio, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to coroner’s Lt. David Smith.
No motive or suspect description was provided.
