Three people were arrested during a driver’s license and sobriety checkpoint in Jurupa Valley, sheriff’s officials said Saturday.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department conducted the checkpoint between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday in the 8800 block of Mission Boulevard.
Of the 368 drivers screened, one was arrested on suspicion of inebriated driving and two others were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Another 27 drivers were cited for driving without a valid license or with a suspected license, according to sheriff’s officials.
The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
