The body of a female was found Saturday among the rocky cliffs of Point Fermin in San Pedro.
A group of hikers made the discovery at 1:23 p.m. in the 800 block of West Paseo Del Mar, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Detectives were conducting an investigation to determine whether the cause and manner of death, Cervantes said.
The female, whose age was not available, was listed as a Jane Doe by the coroner’s office.
