A man was killed in likely gang-related shooting Saturday in which another man approached on foot and opened fire.
The shooting was reported at 3:54 p.m. at 1526 E. 92nd St., according to Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The 20-year-old victim was approached on foot by a man in his 20s, who shot him and ran away, Orris said.
The victim was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, he said.
The shooting was believed gang-related, Orris said.
