An ambulance was involved in a collision while responding to an emergency call in Moreno Valley Monday, but there were no reports of injuries.
The crash happened about 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Valley and Poppy Meadow drives, on the north end of the city, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Paramedics were sent to the location to render assistance to a victim suffering unspecified health complications, leading the fire department to summon the ambulance. The collision occurred as the ambulance reached the scene, but no other details were immediately available.
Sheriff’s deputies were sent to investigate the crash, while a second ambulance was dispatched to pick up the victim requiring medical aid, officials said.
The intersection remained open to traffic.
