Police Tuesday were looking for a hit-and-run motorist involved in fatally injuring a pedestrian in Tarzana.
The person died at the scene of the injury, which occurred about 12:30 a.m. at Tampa Avenue and Oxnard Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The identity of the fatally injured person was not immediately available. Officers were looking for a silver 2013-2018 Toyota Avalon, the LAPD reported.
According to reports from the scene, the person was a female on a skateboard who was not in a crosswalk. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
