Traffic lights were out Monday morning in a La Verne intersection after a two-vehicle crash that sent one vehicle careening into a signal box.
The crash occurred at 9:54 p.m. Sunday at White Avenue and Towne Center Drive, according to La Verne police Sgt. J. Newman.
“There were no significant injuries,” Newman said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation but “it looks like there may have been speed involved,” he said.
The intersection remained open as a four-way stop with signs placed in the intersection as a reminder, Newman said. Repairs were underway.
