A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in the Koreatown area, and police Tuesday sought public help to find the hit-and-run driver.
Paramedics sent to Crenshaw Boulevard and Ninth Street at about 9:30 p.m. Monday took the injured victim, described only as a male, to a hospital, where he died, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Information on his identity was not immediately released. No description was available of the vehicle or the driver.
A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve a fatal hit and run. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
