Authorities Thursday identified a young man who died when a vehicle crashed into a building and overturned in Monterey Park.
The crash in the 100 block of South Atlantic Boulevard was reported at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday, according to Sgt. Peter Yung of the Monterey Park Police Department.
Damian Cazares, 18, of Bloomington in San Bernardino County, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Another person was critically injured in the crash. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
