Placentia police Thursday asked the public for help gathering details of a fatal stabbing in which the 18-year-old victim was dropped off at Placentia Linda Hospital.

The victim was dropped off along with two other wounded men at the hospital about 2:25 a.m. Monday and he was pronounced dead just after 5 a.m., according to Placentia Police Department Lt. Chris Anderson.

One of the men who was also stabbed was treated and released, Anderson said. The three were from Los Angeles County, Anderson said.

The trio has been “uncooperative with the investigation,” Anderson said.

The victim’s name was not released.

Anyone with information was asked to call police at 714-993-8164. Orange County Crime Stoppers will receive anonymous tips at 855-TIP-OCCS.
