A person’s body was found in a minivan that was on fire Sunday in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:18 p.m. to 8429 S. Flower St., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Arson investigators and the Los Angeles Police Department were en route to the scene, Stewart said. The gender and age of the body were not immediately known.
There was no other immediate information.
