The victim of a fatal vehicle crash in Pico Rivera was identified Wednesday by county authorities.
Hector Vela, 24, died of traumatic injuries suffered in the crash on Sunday on the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at Rose Hills Road, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The coroner’s office said Vela’s death was as an accident.
